Provider Data-Use Terms

Standards for handling LocalFoundry service enquiries, consumer choices, security and provider transitions.

Scope and acceptance

These data-use terms describe LocalFoundry’s standards for businesses receiving service enquiries, including trial and temporary recipients. They form part of a provider agreement when included in and accepted with that agreement. Publishing this page alone does not sign a company up, authorize billing or amend an existing accepted agreement. Independently applicable privacy, security, recording and communications laws continue to apply.

Use enquiries only for the requested service

Use contact details, location, issue descriptions, recordings and transcripts only to evaluate, respond to and fulfill the consumer’s requested service, maintain appropriate service records and resolve related disputes. Limit access to personnel and contracted processors who need the information for that purpose.

  • Do not sell, rent, broker or redistribute enquiry data or use it to build marketing lists.
  • Do not treat a service request as consent to unrelated promotions, automated marketing, text campaigns or contacts by other businesses.
  • Do not use recordings, transcripts or customer information to train general-purpose AI models or identify people for unrelated purposes.
  • Do not contact a consumer who has withdrawn permission for the relevant follow-up, except where a further communication is independently permitted or required by law.

Protect access and report incidents

Keep individual account credentials confidential, use the platform’s required authentication safeguards and protect downloaded, emailed and locally stored copies. Do not share partner accounts or attempt to access another company’s enquiries. Apply appropriate safeguards to any personnel, software or subcontractor receiving the data.

Notify LocalFoundry without undue delay after discovering unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure affecting LocalFoundry enquiry data. Preserve relevant evidence, cooperate with containment and legally required notifications, and do not conceal the incident. Notify affected individuals or authorities when legally required; reporting to LocalFoundry does not replace those duties.

Respect consumer choices and recording requirements

Identify your business accurately, explain your relationship to the enquiry and honor the consumer’s requested channel and purpose. Obtain any additional permission required for your own recording, transcription, AI tools or follow-up communications. LocalFoundry’s website checkbox or recorded notice is not unlimited authorization for your independent processing. Do not claim a consumer agreed to a term or marketing activity unless you have supporting evidence.

Assist with verified privacy requests relating to information you received, including locating, correcting, restricting or deleting copies where required. Tell LocalFoundry when a request also concerns its records. Do not request unnecessary identity documents or disclose another person’s information while verifying a request.

Retention, termination and company replacement

Keep enquiry data only as long as needed for the requested service, an authorized business purpose or a legal obligation. Apply your own documented retention controls to email, exports, recordings and subcontractor copies. On termination or LocalFoundry’s valid instruction, return or securely delete data no longer needed, except records you must retain by law or for a genuine unresolved claim; restrict retained records to that purpose.

A replacement company does not automatically receive the prior company’s historical enquiries, payment obligations or consent records. Temporary or free-trial status does not permit broader use of consumer data. Prices, qualification, cancellation and billing are governed by the separately accepted commercial agreement.

Questions and notices

Contact LocalFoundry at contacts@localfoundryhq.com about these standards, a privacy request or a data incident. Identify the affected microsite and records through a secure channel; do not send payment-card details or identity documents in an initial email.
