Terms of Use

How LocalFoundry’s websites, service connections and homeowner guides may be used, and how provider responsibilities are separated.

Who operates this service

These terms govern use of LocalFoundry’s websites, service directories, guides and enquiry tools, including its city microsites and service subdomains. “We,” “us” and “our” refer to LocalFoundry. Contact: contacts@localfoundryhq.com. A company whose branding appears on a microsite is the service recipient identified there; it is not automatically the operator of the LocalFoundry platform.

Use the service only if you are at least 18 and can authorize the enquiry and use of the contact number you provide. If acting for another person or business, have their permission. Separate, expressly accepted provider agreements govern partner pricing, payment, trials and subscriptions; these public terms do not authorize a consumer card charge.

Information and service connections

LocalFoundry publishes consumer planning information and helps route service enquiries. We are not the plumbing, HVAC, electrical or other trade contractor performing the work. Receiving businesses act independently and are responsible for their licenses, insurance, employees, diagnosis, estimates, permits, scheduling, work, warranties and refunds.

We may receive advertising, referral, subscription, rental or per-lead compensation from businesses. Compensation and routing assignments may affect which business receives an enquiry. A directory entry, reference photograph, city map or connection does not by itself establish professional certification, an inspection, a recommendation or a guarantee of workmanship. Confirm any credential, insurance, reference and service commitment directly before hiring.

Requests, callbacks and availability

A call, instant-call request or submitted form asks for a service conversation; it does not book an appointment, dispatch a technician, guarantee a response deadline, set a price or authorize work. Confirm availability, assessment fees, written scope, change orders and payment arrangements directly with the receiving business.

An instant-call request authorizes the specific automated return call described next to the form. Depending on current routing, it may connect to the identified business or an automated intake assistant. Call recording and transcription notices and choices are separate from these website terms. A service request does not authorize unrelated marketing. Provide accurate details and a number you control; do not submit another person’s contact details without authorization.

Emergencies and professional advice

This service is not emergency dispatch or a continuously monitored safety service. For an immediate threat to life or safety, contact emergency services or the appropriate utility using its official emergency number. Do not wait for a website response.

Guides, FAQs and AI intake provide general information and organize an enquiry. They do not inspect your property or provide a professional diagnosis, engineering design, code approval or instruction to perform hazardous work. Property conditions, local rules and equipment instructions vary. Use appropriately qualified professionals and confirm requirements with the relevant authority.

Acceptable use

Use the sites lawfully and respect other people’s information and rights.

  • Do not submit spam, fabricated emergencies, abusive content or unwanted callback requests.
  • Do not impersonate another person or business, misuse tracking numbers or send information you have no right to disclose.
  • Do not bypass authentication, security controls, rate limits or another company’s access restrictions.
  • Do not copy or redistribute the site as a competing service, disrupt its operation or remove required attribution. Ordinary search indexing and use of public Markdown discovery resources remain permitted subject to lawful use and technical access rules.

Content, photography and external services

LocalFoundry or its licensors retain rights in the site’s original content, design and software. You may read, link to and reasonably quote public guidance for personal service planning with attribution, subject to applicable law. Photographs and third-party materials retain their own displayed license conditions.

Some content uses AI-assisted research and writing with linked sources and editorial review. Errors and outdated information remain possible. Source links do not imply endorsement. Reference photographs are illustrative and do not represent local jobs or assigned-provider work unless expressly identified and supported. External websites, maps and third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices.

Availability and reasonable limitations

We work to maintain useful and accurate resources, but websites, routing, networks and third-party systems can fail or change. To the extent permitted by law, the service and informational content are provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, a particular ranking, a successful connection or a particular service outcome.

To the extent permitted by law, LocalFoundry is not responsible for independent provider performance or indirect, special or consequential losses arising from use of the informational or referral service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, excuses our fraud or intentional misconduct, or limits nonwaivable consumer rights. These terms do not relieve a receiving business of its own obligations to you.

Questions, disputes and governing law

Contact contacts@localfoundryhq.com with the relevant page, date and a description of a platform issue so we can investigate. Direct questions about trade work, prices or warranties to the business performing the service, and notify us if the platform’s information or routing may be incorrect.

Utah law governs these terms to the extent it may lawfully do so, without removing mandatory protections applicable where you live. These public terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive access to courts, regulators, small-claims procedures or nonwaivable remedies.

Changes and related policies

We identify the effective date and version of these terms. Changes apply prospectively and do not rewrite previously accepted provider agreements or a consumer’s separate contract with a trade business. Additional notice or agreement will be obtained where required. The Privacy Policy explains data practices; specific contact and recording permissions are collected separately. Save a copy if you need a record of the terms in effect when you use the service.
